Andrew Molfetta

    Andrew is survived by his daughter, Sherri Molfetta, her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchild. He is also survived by his Nieces, Catherine Larsen, Susan Pelton and Laurie Langdon (Spouse Robert); his great nephew, Jeffrey Duff, Jr., his great niece, Taylor Pelton & his great-great niece, Kayla Kuhn.

  He is survived by a host of valued friends who also called him “Uncle Andy” and his deep love for “Uncle Andy’s Angel’s” who looked after his every need the last few years. 

  Andrew Molfetta is predeceased by his parents, Domenico & Theresa Molfetta, his sisters’, Frieda Molfetta, Christine Tuzzi and Camille Costagliola, and his nephew, Robert Larsen.

  Andrew was born January 14, 1944, in Port Jefferson, NY and raised in Nesconset & Lake Ronkonkoma. He served in the Army from 1967-1971 then went on to follow his father in the Plumbing & Oil business. Later, he became a Welder/Iron worker until he retired from McLo Steel, in Ronkonkoma.  

   He pursued many interests such as, golf with his buddies at St. George’s Golf & Country Club and Holbrook Golf Club and enjoyed his dailies at the gym, Zumba, dining out and Dance.  Dance was his favorite. He danced at The Ballroom Dance Factory and Break Out Dance Studio.  He had no shortage of ladies to dance with every week.  There was a time where his golf buddies grew concerned when he cut back on golf.  Uncle Andy famously told them, “The ladies at dance were prettier than you guys”.

   He will be forever missed, and every memory will be cherished. Rest in peace devoted Dad, loving Uncle, dearest friend…. Our “Uncle Andy”.
