Babubhai B. Patel

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Babubhai B. Patel.

Babubhai was born in Kholvad, Gujarat, India, and later made his home in Bayside, New York. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished brother, and dear friend to many. He will be remembered for his kindness, quiet strength, humility, and the love he gave so generously to his family.

Babubhai was a retired microbiologist who worked at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx for over 30 years. He took great pride in his work and dedicated much of his life to serving others through his profession. Outside of work, his greatest joy was his family. He was a steady source of support, encouragement, and guidance, always present in both good times and difficult moments.

He was preceded in death by his older brothers, Mulchandbhai and Dhirubhai, and his older sister, Mungiben.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mandakini; his sons, Anish and Animesh; his elder brothers, Mungubhai and Jaikishanbhai; his elder sister, Parvatiben; his younger sister, Pushpaben; and his loving extended family.

Babubhai’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May his soul rest in peace.
