Barbara Ann Muzzonigro

It brings us great sadness to share the passing of our mother Barbara Muzzonigro on October 14, 2023.

Barbara was the daughter of Louis and Barbara Curiale and the eldest sister to Cordell, Ginny and Janet.

Barbara was survived by her husband Peter, children Debra, Denise, Michael, Lisa, 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

 

Barbara was a resident of Holtsville N.Y. for 60 years. She grew up in Farmingdale where she excelled in music, playing the trumpet and twirling baton as a majorette.

 

Barbara was a dedicated Christian who loved to share her faith in Jesus with everyone she met. She loved singing and horseback riding. She went back to school after overcoming breast cancer and started working at Stony Brook Hospital in the oncology department where she brought hope and comfort to other cancer patients.

 

She left us all with a rich heritage of prayer, faith and the assurance that we will see her again
