Barbara Pillitteri born January 13, 1940 has passed away on May 12, 2026. In her 86 years of life, she was a daughter to William and Jacqueline Carswell who was predeceased by her to sister to Robert Carswell, who was predeceased by her and Bonnie Lou Lester, Jeff Lester, an aunt to Karen Taylor, Toni Carswell, Kathleen Zotterelli, Donna Maggio and Constance Harvey, a great aunt to 12. She was a mother to Thomas D. Marino, who was predeceased by her, Debra A. Marino, Jacqueline Marino, Margaret Pedreira and Albert Marino. A grand mother to 11 grandchildren and a great grandmother to 15 great grandchildren. She was a beloved wife to Frank A. Pillitterri.
She became a Registered Nurse at the age of 20. She was a true care giver. She was committed and devoted to each and every person that entered her life. She was a shining light. She worked at hospitals and then went on to do home care. She was a born again Christian who became a teacher at one point and tought at the Village of Faith Christian school later on in life. She also was an Elder at her church. She was on a bowling league and was very good at it. She enjoyed going to the beach and going on vacations with her husband, Frank. She met her husband at church and they were married 7 weeks later on Nov. 6, 1999 for 26 wonderful years. She also enjoyed playing checkers with frank, cards, word search and watching wheel of fortune and Jeopardy. They loved sitting in the sun and playing Bocci Ball outside.
She had a simple life which was filled with love. She will be miss by all
