Barbara Ann Collomb

Barbara Ann Collomb aka “Babs”, a devoted nurse, cherished mother and grandmother, and beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026, in Johns Creek, Georgia. Born on May 3, 1947, in Queens, New York, Barbara's life was marked by her outgoing spirit, unwavering devotion to her family, and dedication to her profession.

Barbara earned her nursing degree and pursued a meaningful career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LP), a role that reflected her compassionate nature and commitment to caring for others. Her proudest accomplishments were multifaceted: not only did she find fulfillment in her nursing career, but she also took immense joy in becoming a mother and grandmother, roles that deeply enriched her life.

Known for her warm, outgoing personality, Barbara brought light and laughter to those around her. She enjoyed creative hobbies such as scrapbooking and crocheting, through which she expressed her artistic talents and lovingly crafted memories to share with her family.

Barbara is survived by her loving daughter Yvonne; son Scott; daughter Kelly; sons-in-law Bob, Riad, daughters-in-law Sue, Shanda, and grandchildren Marisa, Natalie, Josh, Niko, Liam, Adriana, Eli, Porter, and Hadley. Their lives were profoundly touched by her love and care. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbie, and her son Jamie.

Family, friends, and all who were privileged to know Barbara are invited to honor her memory at the following services. Visitation will be held on April 9, 2026, at Moloney's Hauppauge Funeral Home, located at 840 Wheeler Rd, Hauppauge, NY 11788, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will take place on April 10, 2026, at 9:45 AM at St. Thomas More RC Church,115 Kings Highway, Hauppauge, NY 11788, providing a time for reflection and the celebration of Barbara's vibrant life.

Barbara Ann Collomb's legacy is one of nurturing care, boundless love, and an indomitable spirit. She will be remembered with deep respect and affection by all whose lives she touched.
