Betty Mae Stellato

Betty Mae Stellato 93, of Sayville passed away peacefully October 25, 2023 in East Islip, NY. Born July 11, 1930 in Shamokin, PA to Burt and Sarah Cornell. She had 2 siblings Bland and Patsy. They moved to Babylon where she attended Babylon schools. She went on to become an executive secretary. She married and raised 4 children in Bay Shore, NY. She married Michael in 1973 and together had a beautiful blended family enjoying family outings which included boating,fishing and clamming. After the children were grown and moved out they retired and settled in Sunrise Village in Sayville NY. They became snowbirds enjoying both the east and west coast of Florida. She was loved and will be missed by all.

Beloved wife of Michael. Cherished Mother of Bruce Horner, Janet Zagaro, Sandy (Bruce) Mazer and Joseph (Peggy) Horny. Cherished Step-mother of  Karen (Orlando) Sa and David Stellato. Adored Grandmother of Teddy, Adam (Nora), Lyle, Jenna, Nicole (Andrew), Andrew, Alexandra (Paddy), Eric,  Marc, Ryan, Andy, Baby Joey, and Great Grandmother to Maddox,Gavin, Zoe, Zelie, and Eleanor.
