Left this world peacefully on June 17th, 2026 at the age of 78 surrounded by the love of his family.

Lovingly remembered by, Mrs. Indira B. Lapsia (Wife), Mrs. Khushboo Lapsia Bhargav (Daughter), Mr. Suraj Bhargav (Son-in-Law). Brother and Brother-in-Law of: Kirit L. Lapsia and Late Mrs. Madhuri Kirit; Late Vasant L. Lapsia and Mrs. Nirmala Vasant; Late Lalit L. Shah (Lapsia) and Mrs. Tarla Lalit; Jayyannt L. Lapsia and Late Mrs. Saraswathy Jayyannt

Bhasker was born in Mumbai, India, and was an accountant by trade with a knack for numbers. He enjoyed spending time with family while enjoying home-cooked meals made by his beloved wife. He was an avid wildlife enthusiast and enjoyed trips to different destinations; but most of all loved his visits back home to India to visit family.

Bhasker enjoyed watching Yankees games even though in his younger days he was a Badminton champion and instructor. His love of music, singing and humor made him lovable to be around and the life of the party. Bhasker made an impact in every room he walked into with a charismatic aura which was hard to miss.

He created a life for his family in a new country with sheer will, an innate sense of justice and an unwavering belief in a higher power. He taught his daughter to be respectful, courageous and to never give up in the face of adversity. Ingrained with optimism, Bhasker saw the best in everything and everyone. He left a lasting legacy of fortitude.
