Brenda M. Giambalvo

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our dear mother, Brenda M. Giambalvo (Adams), on February 21, 2024 at the age of 76. She passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer surrounded by family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, godmother, sister and friend and was always there when we needed her. She was a lifelong resident of Long Island and loved the beach, singing and music, everything purple and blue, anything that sparkled and was always cracking a joke. She was a talented hairstylist, cosmetologist and massage therapist; she dedicated her life’s work to beautifying people.
She was predeceased by her mother, Irene Adams, father, Robert Adams, brother Richard Adams, Nephew Jason Adams and best friends, Roberta and Edy. She is survived by her loving daughters, JoAnne (Rob Farley) Giambalvo, Francine (Brian) Gentile and Kathy Bermo. Her grandchildren, Taylor, Dominick, Adrianna, Ryan, Alessandra and Anthony, they were whom she lived for. Her Brother, Robert (Karen) Adams, Sisters, Debbie (Robert) Longo & Doreen (Michael) Quagliano, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Her family was everything to her and she will watch over us all. She will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.
