d. December 5, 2025

Farmingdale

Bruce Joseph Bejsovec, age 58, passed away on December 5, 2025, following a series of strokes. Bruce leaves behind a legacy of generosity, loyalty, and a heart that touched many.

He was predeceased by his mother, Jean, whose love and influence stayed with him all his life.

Bruce is survived by his father, Walter, age 95; his sisters, Bonnie Frey and her husband Dave, and Donna Bokach and her husband Matt; and his five cherished nieces and nephews-Haley, Spencer, McKenna, Trevor, and Carson-who brought him immeasurable pride and joy.

Bruce, with his vibrant, fun-loving personality, lived life to the fullest, guided by a big heart and a boundless willingness to help others. Friends often said he would drop everything to lend a hand, and many came to see him not just as a friend, but as family. His love for his dogs, especially Pit and Nico, was deep and unwavering-he cared for them as if they were his own children.

His greatest passion was working on and racing cars, a pastime that brought him excitement, community, and lifelong friendships. He never met a Mercedes or BMW that he couldn’t take to the next level, and everyone could hear his car coming before he arrived. But above all, Bruce’s proudest moments came from being part of his family-sharing holidays, laughing over games, offering encouragement and advice, supporting his nieces and nephews as they grew, and celebrating the adults they have become.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Long Island on January 3rd, 2026 to honor Bruce’s memory. Details to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bruce’s honor to the ASPCA or The North Shore Animal League -organizations that reflect his deep love for dogs.
