Born in Brooklyn, NY on December 28th, 1934. Died peacefully on a sunny spring day, April 10, 2019. 84 years old with her children by her side. Mom’s favorite month was April. She was a member of St. Anne’s Church.
Loving mother to three children: Deborah O’Dea, Bruan Fletcher and April Snyder (David Snyder). Loving Grandmother to Amber, Bryan Jr., Nick, Derek, Ashleigh and Christopher. Great Grandmother to Brian. Sister Georgeanne Mall.
Mom had the gift of “Gab” She loved talking to people and making friends. She loved telling stories of her experiences and was a loving charitable soul. She was a strong and independent woman and was admired by all for it.
During her life mom was a homemaker, a talented dressmaker, a bookkeeper among other various jobs. She knew how to keep a budget and manage money well. Mom’s last job was at Target which enabled her to talk and meet new friends and people.
She had enjoyed bowling especially with her grandchildren. Mom liked to go to Applebee’s on Fridays and you could always find her watching “The Voice” on TV. Ice cream and mocha cake were favorites. Mom’s signature recipes were pumpkin loaf and Christmas ball and the best macaroni sauce.
Mom just wanted to be with us. always remembered everyone’s birthday, calling to check up on us and looking forward to our visits.
You were always there mom. We will forever miss you waving goodbye at the back door as we drove away…
