Carole Helen Conrey

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carole Helen Conrey, aged 86, on March 18, 2026. Carole was born on October 17, 1939, in College Point, NY. She spent her final years in Holbrook, NY, where she touched the lives of many with her warmth and kindness.Carole was a dedicated Senior Tax Preparer for H&R Block in Central Islip, NY, where she skillfully assisted countless clients with their tax needs. She earned her Associate's Degree, which empowered her in her career and life. Carole was married to Joseph Conrey for 49 years until his passing in 2010. Together they created a loving home for their family.Carole leaves behind her two children: Melissa (Paul) Laufer and David (Rose Marie) Conrey. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Jeremiah Laufer, Benjamin Laufer (Caroline), Timothy Laufer (Arlie), Jonathan Laufer (Elizabeth), Christopher Laufer, Rachel Laufer, Ashley Raney (Troy), and Nicholas Conrey (Julia).Known for her love of frogs, reading, and gardening, Carole found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her spirit and passion will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
