Caroline M. Matteo

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Caroline M. Matteo, born on December 23, 1937 in Brooklyn NY. She departed on December 1, 2025 in Selden NY at the age of 87.

Caroline was the daughter of the late Darrell J and Margaret M Greene, sister of Marjorie, Barbara and the late Donald (Claire). She was beloved by her late husband Michael F. Matteo. A devoted mother of Dara L. (Michael) Gary, Lisa A. (Roy) Romard, Kerry J. (Todd) Matteo-Sullivan, Michael (Jennifer) Matteo Jr. and Jeanine M. (Wesley) Elliott. Adored Gram/Nana of Mel, Rob (LaDonna), Ryan, Caitlin (Daniel), Amanda (Tom), Lyndsey (Cesar), Rebecca, Michael III (Nicole), Sean and cherished GiGi of Gabriel, Emilia and Katerina.
