Catherine Huffman

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Catherine Huffman, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who departed this life on January 21, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on April 9, 1930, in Brooklyn, NY, Catherine exemplified a life filled with dedication, compassion, and unwavering love for her family.

Catherine enjoyed a distinguished career in the financial industry, serving as Vice President in the credit department at Goldman Sachs in New York City. Her professional accomplishments were matched only by her devotion to her family, which she cherished above all else. Catherine is survived by her daughters, Christine (Patrick) Allocca and Cathryn (Russel) Scheirer, her granddaughters Lauren and Kristin and her partner Greg, and her great-grandson Ian. She is also survived by her brother Martin (Catherine) O'Donnell, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. Catherine was predeceased by her siblings John, Walter, and Thomas.

Catherine had a passion for classic black-and-white movies, enjoyed reading mystery novels, and often delighted in the soothing melodies of Perry Como. In memory of her legacy and spirit, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to her heart.

Catherine Huffman will be lovingly remembered for her strength, dedication, and the joy she brought to those around her. She leaves behind a family that will forever hold her memory close.
