Charles J. Lowery was born December 27, 1946 in Bayshore, NY and passed away at the age of 77.
Charlie moved to East Moriches with his wife Susan and daughter Jacquelyn in 1972 – shortly after welcoming son David in October ’73. In Charlie's younger years he was an avid surfer who began a lifelong career in the Long Island Lighting Company for 46 years. Once settled in East Moriches Charlie joined the East Moriches Fire Department serving 50 plus years. Along with his passion for surfing and the Fire Department Charlie loved his garden and sailing around the Moriches Bay in his sail boat, running the NYC Marathon multiple times but most of all Charlie loved his family and his friends.
In lieu of flowers, to honor Charles' memory, the family is requesting donations be made to East End Hospice/Kanas Center.
