In Loving Memory of Chrysoula Maria Manos
September 25, 1962 – October 14, 2026
Chrysoula Maria Manos, lovingly known as Chrissy, passed away on October 14, 2026. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth and joyful personality touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Chrissy lived with happiness, enthusiasm, and a true zest for life. Spirited, loving, and funny, she loved music, dancing, going out to dinner, attending celebrations, enjoying good food, and, above all, spending time with her family. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures and had a special way of bringing laughter and warmth wherever she went.
Chrissy never allowed her special needs to define her. She embraced her independence with pride and lived each day to the fullest. Through travel training, she learned to travel by bus on her own to her day program, a routine she enjoyed for many years. Through her programs, she also gave back to her community by volunteering at churches and various organizations. Along the way, she formed many friendships through both her day programs and the residences she called home.
Chrissy took great pride in her appearance and was always beautifully and meticulously put together. She knew what she liked and carried herself with a confidence that was all her own. To those who knew and loved her, Chrissy was truly a queen—adored by her family, her friends, and the many people she met throughout her life.
She was the cherished daughter of Arthur and Connie Manos; the beloved sister of Kathy Pappas and her husband, Mark, and Dean Manos and his wife, Leanne; and a devoted aunt to Stefani Sassos and her husband, Polydoros, and their children, Markos and Stella; Karalyn Whetton and her husband, Christopher; Gabrielle Pappas; Adiel Rothstein; and Aris Manos. Her family was the center of her world, and she loved them beyond measure.
Chrissy will be remembered for her loving heart, infectious joy, sense of humor, and unmistakable spirit. She was truly an angel on earth, and the happiness she brought to others will never be forgotten.
Though she will be deeply missed, Chrissy will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives were made brighter simply by knowing her.
May her memory be eternal.
