Daniel Peter Feldle
April 4, 2026
Cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Daniel Feldle, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, at 87 years of age. Born in New York, NY, he is now reunited with his beloved son Danny-Boy and his parents. He was dearly loved by his wife, Dolores; his children: Margaret, Kathleen, Maureen, Frankie, Donna, and Michael; his daughters-in-law and sons-in-law; his thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his sister, Mary, and nephews.
As a veteran of the United States Army, Danny served his country with honor and integrity.
Danny worked most of his life as a telephone lineman in New York City. Almost 70 years ago, he fell in love with golf when a co-worker introduced him to it. He enjoyed his time as a starter at Gull Haven Golf Club after he retired from the telephone company. Danny also enjoyed volunteering at many of the major golf tournaments on Long Island. Besides his passion for golf, he was also an avid hunter, enjoying time away with friends.
Danny was a devoted Catholic who attended mass regularly. His giving spirit is what propelled him throughout his life. Always caring about the needs of others, he gave selflessly, even making a great sacrifice by donating one of his kidneys to save another's life.
His greatest passion in life was the time that he had with his wife, Dolores, and the family that God blessed him with. Danny and Dolores took numerous vacations with friends and were always active in the lives of their children and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching them in their many extracurricular endeavors. There wasn’t a birthday, graduation, or special celebration that he would miss. Danny will be remembered for the adorable smile that he always had for everyone.
