David J. Guinaw

David Guinaw, 64, of Selden New York, left this earth on 6/2/21. He is survived by his wife, Theresa, of 44 years. They were married in Copaigue on 11/6/76.

David is remembered by his children Erin Musolino (Vincent) and Keri-Ann Guinaw (Michael), his grandchildren Chase, Nicholas and Charlotte and his fur-children Sulley, Reilly and Finley. Also his brother James Guinaw (Carol) and Kathleen Anderson (Leigh).

David enjoyed watching his Jets and Yankees play. He was an avid music lover and could name any tune. In the most recent years, David became a lover of all things Disney.

David’s family meant more to him than anything in this world. He went above and beyond to provide for his family. He worked at Hydro Bolt for the past 30 years. While working full time, David would drive limos to make sure his family never went without. David would be there to help anyone in a heartbeat. From painting a room to picking up a grandkid from school, he was there.

In lieu of flowers we are asking donations to be made on David’s behalf for Cancer research at Weill-Cornell Hematology Oncology.

Donations can be made in memory of David Guinaw either by check or on-line. These gifts will support Dr. Cora Sternberg’s research at Weill Cornell Medicine in Genitourinary Oncology.
