Dhaniram Ramnarine

May 21st, 1932 - December 4th, 2024. It is with great sadness that we announce the transition of Dhaniram Ramnarine (George). He is survived by his devoted wife, Rookmin Ramnarine of 70 years, father of 7 children, Roy, Steve, Deo, Seeta, Radica, Walter and Deen, grandfather of 15, great grandfather of 14.

Dhaniram was born at Hamburg, Guyana in 1932. He was raised in Vergenoegen and got married to his wife, Rookmin in 1954. They lived in Vergenoegen until they migrated to the United States in 1983. He worked and retired from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer. During retirement he enjoyed traveling to spend time with his children and grandchildren through out the United States.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.
