In Loving Memory of Dolores Rodriguez

March 3, 1935 – May 14, 2025

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we share the passing of our cherished mother, abuela, and bisabuela, Dolores Rodriguez, who joined her beloved husband Manuel in heaven on May 14, 2025.

Dolores lived 90 beautiful years filled with grace, laughter, and love. Her blue eyes sparkled with warmth and kindness, reflecting a soul that accepted everyone without judgment and loved her family more than anything in the world.

She is survived by her three devoted children—David (Debbie), Dolores (Mario), and Carmen (Billy) —who carry her strength and spirit forward. Her legacy continues through her ten adored grandchildren and their loving partners—Thomas (Liz), Casey, Jaclyn (Joe), Manny (Robbie), Kevin (Ryan), Cole (Sam), Nadina, Olivia and Vanessa — her precious great-grandchildren, Jackson, Josie, and Elijah, with a fourth little one on the way, whom she already loved from afar — and her four grand dogs, Samson, Tre, Rue and Vicii.

Dolores had a radiant love for the sun and the water; the beach was her happy place. She was known to break into dance at any moment, often leading the way with joy in her heart. She taught us that life is meant to be celebrated, love should be given freely, and judgment had no place where compassion could live.

Come join us on May 18th at Moloney’s Funeral Home in Ronkonkoma, where stories will be shared, tears will fall, and her legacy of unconditional love will be remembered.

Though she is no longer with us in body, Dolores’s light shines on—in every sunny day, every song that moves us, and every act of love we give to one another.
