Dominic Michael Bruno, 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 21, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of devotion to family, faith, and the land he loved.
A proud third-generation farmer, Dominic dedicated his life to his family’s farm, remaining involved in its daily life and operations in some capacity from childhood through his final days. The farm was not just his work — it was his passion, his heritage, and the heart of who he was.
Dominic attended LIU Post (formerly C.W. Post) and went on to earn his MBA. He built a distinguished career in the aerospace industry, where he worked for over 40 years. Known for his tireless work ethic, integrity, and quiet strength, Dominic balanced a demanding professional life while never straying far from the farm and the values it instilled in him.
Above all, Dominic was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Teresa. He leaves behind his three children, Dominick, Anthony, and Danielle, and his son-in-law, Rob. He was a proud and loving papa to Frankie, Giada, Iyla, Lorenzo, and Tony, who brought him immense joy.
Dominic is also survived by his brother, Dana; his sister, Debbie and her husband, Artie; and his sister, Donna and her husband, Robert. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Leonard and Mary.
Dominic will be remembered as a dedicated, hardworking man whose life revolved around his family and the farm he cherished. His steady presence, strength of character, and deep love for those around him will be profoundly missed.
