It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dominic Danna a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, loyal brother, and cherished friend, who left this world peacefully surrounded by his family. He was a man of quiet strength, unwavering love, and deep commitment to those he held dear.

Raised in Laurelton, Queens, Dominic was the beloved son of Jenny and Joseph Danna. From a young age, he carried with him the values of family, service, and integrity—values that would guide him throughout his life.

A proud veteran Dominic served his country with honor in the US Air Force. His dedication to protecting and providing for others extended far beyond the battlefield; he was the steadfast guardian of his family and a true example of what it means to lead with love.

He shared 64 beautiful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Peggy, creating a home filled with laughter, respect, and enduring affection. Together, they raised four wonderful children—Monica, Stephen, Matthew, and Jonathan—instilling in them the same strength, kindness, and compassion that defined his life. He was a treasured grandfather to ten grandchildren: Austin, Spencer, Griffin, Zoey, Kareem, Trevor, Hailey, Logan, Tristan, and Ella, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride. His legacy lives on in their hearts and in the values that he helped shape in their lives.

Dominic was also a beloved brother to his late brother John, and a deeply valued uncle, always offering wisdom, humor, and unwavering support. To friends and family alike, he was a steady presence, a generous spirit, and a source of comfort and inspiration.

Though our hearts are heavy, we take solace in knowing that his spirit lives on through the love he gave, the lives he touched, and the legacy he leaves behind. Dominic will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
