It is with great love and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Donald L. Tucciarone, 96, who departed this life on January 9, 2026. Born on July 8, 1929, in New Jersey, Donald lived a life filled with dedication and joy. In his youth, he proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1948 to 1951.
Donald, affectionately known as "Mr. Wonderful" by those who cherished him, was a devoted husband, father, stepfather, brother, uncle, grandfather and great grandfather. He leaves behind his beloved son, Donald Tucciarone, Jr., as well as his stepchildren Eugene, Michael, Mark, Thomas and John, along with 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren who will carry his legacy of love forward. Also mourning his loss are his dear sister, Jane, and his nieces and nephews: Kelly (Steven), Robert (Linda), and Jason (Stephanie), who fondly remember their time together. Donald is predeceased by his beloved wife, Rosemarie of 33 years, as well as stepdaughter Kathleen and his siblings: John, Joseph, Frank, Harry, Louis, Mary, Rose, Anna and Dolores.
As a dedicated driver for Clare Rose in Patchogue, Donald exemplified hard work and commitment throughout his life. He will be remembered not only for his professional dedication but also for his unwavering positivity and charisma. Donald enjoyed boating and karaoke, occasionally dabbling with the piano, and was known for his vibrant spirit and passion for fitness as an avid gym-goer.
A memorial mass of Christian burial in celebration of Donald's life will be held on January 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd R.C. Church.
In honoring Donald's memory, we invite those who knew and loved him to gather, share stories, and celebrate a remarkable life well-lived. May his spirit continue to inspire joy, love, and camaraderie in all our hearts.
