Elizabeth “Lily” Guinto
December 22, 1951 – September 27, 2026
Elizabeth “Lily” Guinto, born December 22, 1951, in Glasgow, Scotland, passed away on September 27, 2026.
Lily was the daughter of Elizabeth and John McGinlay and was one of eight children, growing up with six sisters and two brothers. She came to America from Glasgow in 1963, where she would build a life centered around family, love, laughter, and generosity.
Lily married James Guinto, and together they raised a family of five sons. Their son, Tommy Tucker, born in March 1977, sadly passed away in September 1977 while still an infant. Lily carried his memory with her throughout her life.
She was also a loving grandmother to her two grandchildren, Tyler and Logan, who brought great joy to her life.
Lily was fiercely funny, honest, and generous. She had a strong personality, a wonderful sense of humor, and a way of saying exactly what she thought. Those who knew her knew that her honesty came with a tremendous heart. She loved deeply, gave generously, and left an impression on the people fortunate enough to know her.
Of her seven siblings, Lily is survived by two of her sisters, along with her other sons, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and those whose lives she touched throughout the years.
Her family will remember her laughter, her strength, her unmistakable personality, and above all, the love and generosity she showed to the people she cared about.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
May she rest in peace, reunited with her husband James and her son Tommy
