Elizabeth O'Gallagher

Elizabeth Ann O’Gallagher (nee Kennedy) passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on February 20, 2026. She was 87 years old.

Liz, as she was fondly called, was predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Joseph. Sisters Dorothy and Anna.

Born to parents Joseph and Anna, she was the oldest of five children and raised in Astoria, NY. She is survived by her three loving children son Joseph (Tara), daughters Sharon Galvin and Tara Hrzich (JJ). Her five grandchildren Erin White (Sean), Delaney Galvin, Colin Hrzich, Kevin Galvin and Emma Hrzich were the light of her life. Adored sister to her brothers

Joseph (Sandy) and Charles (Anna) and cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.

To know her was to love her. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
