Obituary for Ernesto “Tito” Aikman Jardine

With deep sorrow and enduring love, we announce the passing of Ernesto “Tito” Jardine, who departed this life leaving behind a legacy of strength, rhythm, wisdom, and boundless devotion.
Born on April 7, 1953, Ernesto was a man of exceptional spirit and dedication. For 45 beautiful years, he shared his life with his beloved wife, Alcira Jardine, building a home founded on love, loyalty, lots of patience and unwavering guidance. Together, they raised five children—Yacira, Takisha, Denzel, Mirta, and Isaac—each of whom he nurtured with steadfast commitment and deep wisdom, shaping their paths and successes with the strength only a super father could offer.
He was cherished by his younger brother Rafael Jardine and nieces and nephews Wendy ,Jennifer, Suzette,Alejandro, Adrianna and Alexander a proud and loving grandfather to Mia, Lianna, Julius, Aaliyah, Edwin, Taeshawn, Julian, Miliani, Chantele Zhane, Zion, Kameron. Each grandchild brought joy to his life, and he, in turn, became a beacon of strength and love in theirs.
Ernesto was a man of many talents and even greater accomplishments. A distinguished supervisor at the United Nations for over 38 years in service, his leadership and professionalism left a lasting mark on all who worked with him. Beyond his professional life, he was an extraordinary African drummer, known and respected in musical circles for his passion and his performances with numerous bands. Music pulsed through his veins, connecting him to his roots and to the soul of every audience he touched.
He was also a disciplined bodybuilder, a fierce martial artist with black belts in multiple disciplines, embodying physical and mental strength. His dedication to personal excellence inspired everyone around him.
But perhaps his most profound legacy is that of being a warrior father—a man whose love and guidance were foundational to his children’s growth and success. He was their protector, their teacher, their hero. He led by example, lived with purpose, and left an indelible impact on all who knew him.
Ernesto “Tito” Jardine's legacy will live on in the rhythm of a drum, the discipline of a craft, the hearts of his family, and the countless lives he influenced with his wisdom, patients and Love
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
