Frank Joseph Ciafone

Frank passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. He was born the second of two sons on August 5, 1949, to parents John Ciafone and Anne Farrell Ciafone in Elmhurst, NY. In his 70th year, he leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Susan Frances Keller Ciafone and his two surviving children, Sue-Ann Ciafone Villano and Nicholas Ciafone. He was a loving grandfather to Robert, Matthew and Landon and Fur Father to his chocolate Labrador, Bufford. A Lionel train enthusiast, history buff, surf and deep-water fisherman and well-known prankster, Frank worked for many years as an automobile and bus mechanic for most of his life. One of his greatest joys was owning his own shop, Frank’s Auto Repair, in his beloved town, Ronkonkoma, across from the railroad station. No better combination in his eyes. As his last two years on earth were heavy with physical challenges, he is free now to surf cast for blues and stripers in Heaven with all his loved ones gone before him including his first son, Frankie and brother John. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
