George Michael Tamborello

George Michael Tamborello, affectionately known as Tampy, was a beloved figure in the community who sadly passed away on July 8, 2024, in Riverhead, New York. He was born on November 23, 1940, in the city of New York, New York.

George led an accomplished life, highlighted by his role as the Vice President of Star Liquor in Syosset, New York. Prior to his successful career, he proudly served in the Army, demonstrating bravery and commitment to his country.

Survived by his loving wife MaryJane Tamborello,  Beloved son Michael, Cherished daughter Janine Mazur (Joseph), Grandchildren Joseph, Samantha, Gianna, Gabriella, Savannah, Anthony, and Steven.  Along with many nieces and nephews. George will be deeply missed. 

Services to honor and celebrate George's life will be held at the Moloney-Sinnicksons Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Center Moriches, New York. A visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on July 11, 2024, followed by a Prayer Service at 5:00 PM.
