Gerard B. Martin

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gerard B. Martin, a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend, who left this world on April 15, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on December 25, 1952, in New York, NY, Gerard lived a life marked by dedication and a passion for the things he loved.

Gerard was a proud resident of Farmingville, NY, where he shared a wonderful life with Judy, his wife of 50 years. His family was his cornerstone, and he is survived by his devoted wife Judith, and his cherished brother, James (Maura) Martin. He was a supportive brother-in-law to Linda Bruderer, Patty (Kenny) Snopkowski, and Mickey Watson. Gerard's legacy also lives on through his beloved nieces and nephews: Christopher (Kristen) Bruderer, Robert (Amanda) Bruderer, Steven (Michelle) Snopkowski, Samantha Snopkowski, Michael Watson II, Brigid Martin, and Keara Martin.

Gerard's professional career in the automotive industry and then as a school bus driver were a testament to his hard work and commitment. Outside of work, he found joy in golf, and he particularly cherished his travels to Myrtle Beach, where he relished the opportunity to play the sport he adored.

Gerard will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him. May he rest in peace.
