Helen E. McCormick

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Helen McCormick, who left us peacefully after a brief illness at the age of 93. Helen was a woman of quiet strength, deep loyalty, and a love for her family that shaped every part of her life.

Independent, resilient, and steadfast, Helen faced life’s challenges with grace and determination. She was known for her generous spirit and her gentle heart—qualities that touched everyone who knew her. She found joy in the simple things, especially in her lifelong love of knitting and sewing. Helen was especially talented at making baby sweaters, each one crafted with the same care and warmth she poured into everything she did.

Helen is survived by her daughter Patricia Pedersen (Kevin) and her sons Stephen McCormick (Rosemarie) and James McCormick (Patricia), as well as her cherished grandchildren Danielle, Heather, Brandon, Corey, Kaleigh and Sean. She was predeceased by her loving husband Hugh and her son William, and we find comfort in knowing they are together once again.

Though our hearts are broken, her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
