Henry Podufaly

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Henry Podufaly, age 86, who departed this life on September 4, 2026. Born on December 10, 1939, in Michigan, Henry lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love. A long-time resident of Holbrook, New York, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.Henry proudly served in the United States Air Force for 22 years, where he distinguished himself as a skilled flight engineer. Following his military career, he transitioned into a role as a Safety Manager for the government in San Antonio, Texas.

 In his personal life, Henry was devoted to his wife, Anna Repalone-Podufaly, with whom he shared 17 cherished years of marriage. He is fondly remembered by: JoAnn, the late Lisa, Christine, Nicole, Tony (Debbie), the late LeeAnn (George), Nick (Laurie), Michael (Lori), as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his siblings: Walt, Bernice and Geeg. Each of them carry fond memories of Henry, who will be remembered for his gardening skills, particularly his remarkable tomatoes, as well as his love for cleaning, cooking, and making traditional dishes such as pierogies and stuffed cabbage.

Henry Podufaly will be remembered as a faithful and generous man, whose legacy of love and devotion will endure in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
