Janet G. Chadwick

Janet G Chadwick of Hendersonville, NC went to be with the Lord on August 22, 2026, she was 91. Janet was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Edgar J Chadwick in 2009. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was the secretary to the president of Wascomat of Inwood, NY. After moving to Hendersonville, NC in 1993 she worked for years at the Henderson County Sheriffs’ Office, well into her eighties. She was active at First Baptist Church. Janet enjoyed cooking, baking, and entertaining family and friends. She was an accomplished seamstress making the majority of her wardrobe. She loved the mountains of western North Carolina and living at Carolina Village where she developed strong friendships with many of the staff.

The family would like to thank the nursing and support staff at Carolina Village Medical Center for their care, love, and support.

She is predeceased by her son, Edward Chadwick, and survived by daughter Patricia Cilento and husband Peter Cilento, granddaughter Stephanie Nosworthy and husband Joseph Nosworthy, granddaughter Laura Meyer and husband Christopher Meyer, great grandchildren, Christian Nosworthy, Anna Nosworthy, Christopher Meyer Jr, Caroline Meyer, and Abigail Meyer.
