Janice P. Muldoon

Janice (Jan) P. Muldoon (nee Jensen) died unexpectedly May 25, 2025 at NYU Langone Hospital, E. Patchogue, NY. Jan was born in New York, NY August 10, 1944 to John H. and Patricia L. Jensen.

Devoted and loving wife of John (Jack) J. Muldoon of 61 years, they have resided in East Patchogue for the last 50 years. Jan was in the banking industry as a teller and retired from HSBC. She is survived by her husband Jack, her sister Eloise (Ellie) Gollenberg and her husband Wayne of CT, daughter-in-law Laura Muldoon, daughter Cheryl Castilletti, grandchildren, Michael Muldoon, Mark Castilletti (Denise), Nicholas Castilletti (Madison) Alexis Castilletti, Brianna Castilletti, five great grandchildren, Viviana, Avery, Carter, Amelia and Jace. Jan was predeceased by her son Michael J. Muldoon. Jan was a huge supporter of the Bellport High School football team, loved to garden, avid fan and attendee of her grandson, Michael’s, baseball games. She loved playing cards with her family and dining out with friends.

Visiting and prayers Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Moloney’s Lake Funeral Home, 132 Ronkonkoma Avenue, Lake Ronkonkoma, NY; 631 588-1515. Internment of ashes will be scheduled at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Heart Association.
