Jeanne Haste Lark

On July 6, 2026 Jeanne Haste Lark passed away at the age of 93. Born on March 25, 1933 in Hempstead NY, Jeanne spent most of her life there before moving to Ronkonkoma to be closer to her family. Jeanne was the beloved daughter of Clifford and Louise, the loving sister of Peter, all of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Lark. Jeanne is survived by her children, Jim and his wife Gina, Linda and her husband Gordon, Krista and her husband Steve. She is also survived by her loving sister in law Loretta Haste. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy: Christina, James, Thomas, and Kaitlyn, along with her great granddaughter Emersyn. Jeanne enjoyed being an aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Jeanne loved music and singing. She was a long time active member of the Sweet Adelines barbershop chorus. She was also a key part of organizing Hempstead HS class of ‘51 reunions. She will be remembered for her loving spirit, sparkling blue eyes, beautiful smile, and the lasting memories she made with those who loved her.
