Jenine Eleanor Reichelt

Jenine “Jenny” (Napolitano) Reichelt was called home to Heaven on July 22, 2017, after an inspiring battle with breast cancer.  She was resting peacefully and when she passed she was surrounded by the family she built with her husband Eduard Reichelt. She was 56 years old.

Born August 10, 1960, to Neil Napolitano and the late Janet (Koch) Napolitano, Jenny was the “middle child” of eight. She was the glue within the family and even as they dispersed throughout the country she helped maintain the strong family bond.

To know Jenny was to know true friendship. She would do anything for anyone. Jenny knew how to make even the simplest moments special. She paid attention to the smallest things that people found important in a genuine effort to show them just how much she loved and cared.

Jenny loved to bet the ponies, play bingo, and do scratch-offs, but never relied on luck in her life’s journey. She was quick-witted, bold, determined, and possessed infinite faith.

If asked what she was most proud of she would say her family.  She adored her two children, Eddie and Meghan, and wanted nothing more than to see them grow and find happiness.

It was her unyielding hope, faith, grit, and that deep love for family and friends that drove her to defy the odds and battle her brutal diagnosis for more than four years.

She was a miracle. And she will be missed more than words can express.

Left to honor Jenny and remember her love are her loving husband of 35 years, Eduard Reichelt; her son, Eduard Reichelt Jr.; daughter, Meghan (Reichelt) Kaplan; two daughters-in-law, Lindsey (Pritzlaff) Reichelt and Nicole Kaplan; granddaughter, Emilia Reichelt; her siblings Neil Napolitano Jr. and his wife Mary Ellen, Bruce Napolitano and his wife Nicolle, Karen Napolitano and her fiancé Carolyn, Scott Napolitano and his wife Alissa, Keith Napolitano and his wife Elizabeth, and Dean Napolitano; many nieces and nephews and countless friends. Jenny is proceeded by her mother, Janet; her brother, Mark Napolitano, and her nephew Ian Napolitano.
