Joan M. Fagioli

Joan Marie Fagioli, aged 94, passed away on January 14, 2026, after a sudden battle with pneumonia. She departed this earth peacefully at her home in Neenah, Wisconsin with her daughter Karen by her bedside. She was born Joan Marie Delisle on March 21, 1931, in the small upstate town of Malone, New York. At the age of 20, she moved to New York City where she met her future husband, Carl Fagioli. They were married on September 5, 1953, and were blessed with 52 years of marriage, leaving a legacy of six children, eighteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. After her children were grown Joan worked for the IRS for 20 years. Following her retirement, Joan and her husband moved to Oldsmar, Florida, where she enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, crocheting, bowling and card games. Joan is predeceased by her husband Carl who passed away in 2005. For the next 20 years she spent time living in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Florida with loving support provided by her daughter Karen Cronin and her family. Joan is survived by her six children, Thomas Fagioli (Vilma), James Fagioli (Carol), Linda Katsiotas (Nick), Karen Cronin (William), Robert Fagioli (Anne) and Joanne Giardinelli. 

Joan’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, and her strength will continue to inspire generations to come.
