Obituary: Joan Patricia Ambrosini , a Beloved Mother and Grandmother .

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joan Ambrosini. Joan departed this world on February 8th leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion that touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born March 12 1939 in Queens NY, Joan’s journey was marked by a profound commitment to caring for others by working at Mather hospital for over 40 years in ICU. She was loved by her colleagues and formed forever friendships with them that continued when she retired . She was a committed loving mother and grandmother and her biggest sense of pride were her children . She loved spending time with her family and worked hard at making each one of them feel special .

Joan’s passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit will live on in the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Joan is survived by her son Rick, her daughter Jean , her son Bill, and her daughter Christine . In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude in Joan’s name. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Moloney-Sinnickson’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Visitation is Monday, February 12th from 1:00-6:00pm and the funeral mass is Tuesday, February 13th at St. John the Evangelist RC Church at 9:30am.
