Joan M. Smith

Joan M. Smith, age 76, of Holbrook, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026. She was born on November 23, 1949 in Patchogue to Raymond & Mary Mercer. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness and strength touched everyone who knew her.She is survived by her husband, Francis L. Smith Jr., her Daughter, Rayna Smith-McCawley, her Daughter in law, Teri McCawley and her Granddaughter, Emily Albert. She was predeceased by Raymond & Mary Mercer. Joan found joy in gardening, volunteer work, and spending time with friends and family. Her greatest pride was her family, and she created a home filled with love, laughter, and warmth.A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 4-7pm at Moloney's in Holbrook.
