Joanne Kathleen Cavalieri, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, godmother, aunt, and friend, passed away surrounded by love and laughter. A bright spirit and the heart of the Waterways community, Joanne brought joy to everyone she met.She was the devoted wife of Sam Cavalieri, and the proud mother of Susan, Sammy, and John. Joanne was also a cherished mother-in-law to Jennifer and Candece, and an active presence in the lives of each of her grand children Jennifer, Karissa, Jason, Marina, Lili, John, and Alyssa, who were the light of her life.With a overwhelming joy, Joanne recently embraced her long-sought role as “GiGi” to her great-granddaughter Cameron, a gift that kept her heart filled to capacity through her final days. Joanne was also a deeply loved godmother and aunt to Karen, Bobby, Erika and Douglas, sharing her warmth, humor, and wisdom generously with each of them.Known for her infectious smile and boundless energy, Joanne inspired her friends to live life to the fullest. Her caring nature and open heart made everyone feel like family.Joanne lived with deep faith, gratitude, and love, finding joy in life’s simple blessings and strength in her trust in God.
