John D. DeChirico of Yaphank, Long Island, New York (formerly of Flushing, Queens, New York), passed on January 16, 2018, at age 67. Beloved husband of Jeanette DeChirico and step-father of Robert and Scott Hopkins. Loving brother of Joan DeChirico-Ganpat. Dearest relative, friend and coworker of many individuals who love and admire him now and always. His sensitive, gentle and compassionate character is a model for all. He will be forever missed.
