John R. Keane

John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, grandson, brother, and friend to many. He loved to golf and was a Founding member of the Emerald Golf Association (EGA).John is a Navy Veteran and proud retiree of the FDNY.

Survivors include his significant other Marijane Valentino and separated wife Kathleen Keane; sons John &Regina, Steven &Brooke, James &Susan and Brian & Lana, One sister Susan &Frank Shields, and one brother Robert Keane; Ten grandchildren and one great grandchild; and extended family Annmarie Pesa & Carl, Michael Beckman, Christopher & Deidre Beckman, Donna & John West, along with 6 grandchildren; and a host of nephews and cousins that he dearly loved.

John was preceded in death by his parents Walter J. Keane and Grace Keane; Brothers Walter and Richard Keane.

He will be laid to rest at Calverton National Cemetery on Long Island. Arrangements are being handled by Moloney’s Hauppauge Funeral Home in Hauppauge, New York.
