John L. Jarvis

John Leslie Jarvis, 47, of Oakdale, NY died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 27, 2016. His departure from this life was sudden, and the end of his earthly existence is deeply felt by his family, friends and colleagues. John was born May 25, 1968 in West Islip, New York. He leaves behind his mother, Susan L. Jarvis of Islip Terrace, NY; his father, Richard Jarvis of Mocksville, NC; his sister, Stacey Schlesinger (Michael) of Statesville, NC and his twin brother, James Jarvis (Debbie) of Blue Point, NY. He also leaves his maternal grandmother, Alyce Frederick of Bohemia, New York and nephews and niece, Jacob Schlesinger, Connor Jarvis, Jon Schlesinger, Aiden Jarvis and Sophie Schlesinger.

John loved his work as a Medical Service Consultant while employed at KCI and recently at ArjoHuntleigh in Farmingdale, New York. John’s passions were reading, trips to Atlantic City and providing advice on how to best prepare for the future. John will be missed for his passion for the unexpected and his kindness and willingness to lend a hand to family, friends and colleagues.
