John R. Raggie

Raggie Jr., John R. of Northport NY on March 9, 2018 in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn. Loving father of Doug (Judy), Pastor Claudia Raggie, May Beth Heinicke and the late Bill (Jan). Cherished grandfather of 4 and great grandfather of 4. John served proudly for 4 years as Quartermaster First Class on the USS Beale in the US Navy during WWII. He was also a member of Tin Can Sailors Association, and longtime active member of Northport American Legion.

Arrangements entrusted to Moloney’s Lake Funeral Home, 132 Ronkonkoma Avenue, Lake Ronkonkoma where the family will be gathering at the Funeral home 9:30am Wednesday morning, and follow in a procession for Interment at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton NY.

Donations in John Raggie’s name may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Lake Ronkonkoma, or to the Northport American Legion Post #694.
