Joseph R. Kriklava Jr. passed away on Friday, April 17th, leaving behind a life defined by family, resilience, and quiet devotion to those he loved.Joseph, fondly known to many as ‘Mr. Joe,’ was the proud father of Thomas (Kim) and James (Kimberly), and a deeply cherished grandfather to Danielle, Tommy, Jonathan, Cassandra, and Rachael. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren—Stephen, Joseph, McKenzie, Maverick, Abigail, Wolfie, Jordan, Noah and Sydney—each of whom brought him immense pride and joy. He also leaves behind his beloved brother Rudolph (Loretta) and many nieces and nephews who will forever hold him in their hearts.He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ernestine, whose memory remained close to his heart. In later years, Joseph found companionship and comfort with Adrienne, who shared in his life and memories.Joseph will be remembered for his dedication to his work at Chief of Operations in Plant Protection at Northrop Grumman, retiring in 1995. The hard-worker he was, he continued to work after retirement doing various security positions for Grumman until a full retirement in 2003. He served our country in the United States Marine Corps. as a Corporal in the Military Police Branch and as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Aside from his work and family, Joseph loved golf, watching football and Burger King! Joseph will be remembered for his dedication to family, and the lasting imprint he leaves on generations who will carry his spirit forward. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
