Joseph Richard Tommasino

Joseph R. Tommasino, 44, of Bayport, NY, passed away on Friday,  May 10, 2024. Joseph, fondly known as ‘Joey’,

was born on August 9, 1979. He graduated from Bayport-Bluepoint High School in 1998. Joey worked at Blockbuster

and in construction for many years. He always had a passion for entertainment and was a talented DJ, showcasing 

his skills throughout his life at many different events. He enlisted in the United States Army National Guard in 2006

and received an honorable discharge. He had a wild imagination and enjoyed music, movies, comics, collectables, 

and memorabilia. He loved to tinker and build things with his creative mind. He was a spirited theorist and deep 

thinker, who loved to question things. He loved to socialize and engage in complicated thought-provoking conversations

that were never dull or short. He will be truly missed and always loved by those that knew him best.

He is survived by his mother, Loraine Warren and husband Steve, his father Joseph Tommasino and wife Karen.  He is

also survived by his  brothers, Michael Tommasino and wife Kristen, Matthew Tommasino and wife Nancy, and sisters

Jacqueline Gil, Laura Ramos and husband Ralph, and Melissa Lodico and husband Chris. He is also survived by his

twelve nieces and nephews:  Michael, Anthony, Grace, Mya, Madison, Emma, Lucas, Zoey, Bella, Aubree, Riley and Ayla.
