Josephine Amplo

Josephine Amplo, of Farmingville, New York, passed away on December 27th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Josephine Amplo was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose joy came from being surrounded by family. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Amplo; her children Rich Nass and his wife Amy, Kris Amplo and his wife Cindy, Joseph Amplo and his wife Jen; her stepdaughter Elaina and her husband Jerry; and her cherished grandchildren Layton Nass, Sophia Amplo, Samatha Amplo, Karlyn Nass, Skyler Amplo, Chartlotte Amplo, Joseph Amplo, Lily Amplo, Dillon Nass, Sadie Amplo, Austin Aponte, and Anya Aponte.

Josephine had a special bond with her grandchildren and took immense joy in every moment spent with them. They were the light of her life, and she made sure each one felt deeply loved.

She was happiest in the kitchen, cooking meals that brought everyone together, and she took great pride in hosting family gatherings filled with laughter and warmth. Her home was a place where everyone felt welcome, fed, and cared for.

In an era when grocery shopping meant navigating crowded aisles Josephine imagined something different. She pioneered a service that brought groceries directly to people’s doors. With determination and an unwavering work ethic, she founded her own grocery shopping and delivery business at a time when such an idea was considered unconventional. She built her business through personal relationships and attention to people’s needs and what started as a small idea turned into trusted service known across Long Island.

Josephine will be remembered for her loving spirit, her generosity, and the way she made family the center of everything she did. Her legacy lives on in the many memories she created and the love she gave so freely.
