Josephine Gregson

Josephine Gregson, born on March 19, 1932, in New York, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, at the age of 93 in Palm Coast, Florida. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Gregson, with whom she shared 43 cherished years of marriage. Josephine is survived by her son, Robert (Sue) Gregson, and her daughter, Susan (Dan Weaver) Gregson. She leaves behind a loving legacy of grandchildren: Michelle (Alan Caypinar) Trocchio, Lisa (Donald Hillenberg) Trocchio, Lauren (Jeremy) Klink, Victoria (James) Brinkley, and Lauryn (Johnny Falzolgher) Gregson. Additionally, she cherished her great-grandchildren: Gianna Klink, Jesse Hillenberg, Mason Klink, Jackson Klink, and Hannah Klink. She is predeceased by her daughter Darleen Aslanis. An Italian woman of remarkable strength and spirit, Josephine was known for her feisty personality and loving nature. As a custodian for the North Babylon School District, she approached her work with dedication and pride. Outside of her professional life, Josephine enjoyed going to the casino with her daughter, both getting a thrill from the slot machines. She also enjoyed bowling and was an avid fan of the New York Giants. She found joy in the company of her beloved dogs, Cleo and Koko. Josephine Gregson will be remembered not only for her strength and determination but also for the love and kindness she extended to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
