Joyce was born Joyce Theresa Scheuer on April 15th 1940 in Binghamton, NY. She had 2 brothers, Alvin and Ernest. She is survived by her loving family; brother Alvin, daughter Patricia Bryan (Doug), Anthony Ceglio (Caroline), and Joseph (Dana), nieces and nephews Donald Scheuer, Diane Scheuer, Douglas Scheuer, Thomas, Donna, in addition to her grandchildren; Natasha, Michael (Alena), Nicholas, Alexa, Matthew, Lilia (Alex) and Noah, and her beautiful great grandchildren; Katie, Blakely, Emoree, Brayden, and Arlo.

Joyce took no greater pride than in her family. Joyce worked in the probation department in Suffolk County for 33 years. She was also actively involved in the Sons of Italy serving as the President for the John Prudenti Lodge for several years.

Additionally, Joyce was actively involved in her Union and insured her members received all benefits they deserved. She traveled the world and was an active skier into her early 60’s. She treasured all her accomplishments, including her family, which was her most treasured of all.

Joyce will forever be remembered for her incredible and amazing spirit and will be missed by those who knew her best.
