Katherine Busuttil

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our beloved Mother, Katherine (Kay), who passed away at the age of 94 surrounded by her family. Katherine was a loving wife, dedicated mother, adored grandmother, and great grandmother who valued family above all else. Born in NYC on April 28, 1931, to Angela and Carmelo Trimarchi and was raised in the Bronx, NY with her twin sister Carol, older brothers Joe and Sam and younger brother, Tony. She met her husband, Joe, in 1958 and they were married in 1959. Katherine spent her life dedicated to raising her 3 children, creating a close knit family, emphasizing love, respect and strength in the Catholic faith. She loved to cook, was an avid NY sports fan and made sure that Sundays always included pasta for dinner. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and was always up for a visit to Atlantic City. She leaves behind her husband of 66 years, 3 children, 2 daughters-in-law, 1 son-in-law, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. Though we will miss her dearly, her legacy will live on in the family she built.
