Kathryn Anne Johnson

Johnson, Kathryn Anne, 97, of New York, NY on her birthday September 11, 2025 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love. Beloved wife of the late Theodore aka Teddy. Proud mother of Jill and the late Neil. Devoted grandmother of Diana (and her husband Reese) and Michael (and his wife Cherrie). Loving great grandmother to Finley, Maggie and Raymond. Loving daughter of the late James Munro and late Margaret Weir. Kathryn was a cherished niece, loving cousin and dear friend to many. Kathryn retired as a secretary from Hofstra University in 1990 and was very proud of her time there. She lived life to the fullest with gratitude and never took a day for granted. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh and love for life. Her family was her greatest joy and she’ll be forever missed but her legacy will live on. A funeral service will be held at Moloney Funeral Home in Hauppauge, NY on September 17, 2025, at 10:00AM with a burial to follow at Hauppauge Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Housing Works.
