Kevin A. Monahan

Kevin A. Monahan of Holtsville, NY passed away peacefully on December 20th at the age of 72. Kevin was born in the Bronx, NY and raised by his mother Dorothy Marcario who later moved to Holtsville.
He is survived by his wife Linda of 48 years, his daughters Jessica (Gregory Koster) and Aileen (Dominick Luppino), his grandchildren Zachary Greg Koster and Megan Ann Luppino, and his beloved dog Tella.
Kevin graduated from Sachem High School in 1966. He shared his love for cars with his family and through his work as a mechanic of 50 years.
He was a huge sports fan with a lifetime of love for Notre Dame football, The New York Jets and the New York Mets.
A small, socially-distanced, immediate family service will be held on December 29th. An in-person celebration of his life will take place at a time when gathering is once safe again.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations or contributions be made in Kevin’s name to the Long Island Golden Retriever Rescue Inc, PO Box 566, Plainview, NY 11803.
